A PASSION BORN IN 2014

France's first ethical and eco-responsible yoga brand, YUJ was created in 2014 by Hélène Duval and means "union" of body and mind. It's also the root of the word yoga in Sanskrit.

A STATE OF MIND

Much more than a brand, YUJ federates a new generation of yogis for whom yoga is now more than a sport practice but also a lifestyle. 

ECO-RESPONSIBLE VALUES

YUJ draws its DNA from the values of yoga. This translates into respect for the environment through a reasoned and verticalized production, but also through a state of mind "less is more" of its collections.

UNIQUE STUDIOS

Wanting to extend her passion for yoga beyond clothing, Helene decided to teach and share what she received 20 years earlier, opening the first YUJ YOGA STUDIO in 2017. Since then, 8 studios have opened, offering a unique experience of yoga classes under infrared lights, to the rhythm of inspiring playlists and candlelight. "I wanted to create yoga studios thought of as urban refuges, where we come to physically and mentally cleanse ourselves from our hectic lives. We teach yoga like nowhere else, and our method appeals to anyone who didn't like yoga."

THE FOUNDER

Hélène Duval discovered yoga in the late 80s and immediately became passionate about this art of living. Heading YUJ Paris since 2014 and a yoga teacher for over 25 years, Hélène's goal is to create technical, stylish and eco-responsible collections. Clothes that are thought for the practice of yoga, in which one feels good, and at the cutting edge of fashion.
